About YUQI WANG
Yuqi Wang was born in Shanghai, China in 2000. She has been living in the UK since she studied A Level, and graduated from University of Westminster with a degree in Fine Art Mixed Media. Yuqi Wang works in many directions, as a multimedia artist, filmmaker, performer and KOL (Key Opinion Leader). Her films have been screened at independent film festivals and have been nominated for a series of awards.
Yuqi Wang has exhibited in London, Paris and Shanghai, especially she held her solo exhibition in Shanghai M50 district in 2021. Her artistic practice involves multiple media such as experimental film, performing art, still & moving image, installation and etc. Currently, her main research fields are identity cognition, time-space displacement, and the life-death cycle.
